Clearcover Celebrates Intern Appreciation Day

Clearcover is lucky to have 20 hardworking interns across 16 departments. On the last Thursday of July, we celebrated National Intern Day by hosting a day full of fun that happened in person and remotely.
We invited all local current and past interns to join us at the Chicago office to enjoy Dunkin Donuts, coffee, cookies, snacks, and soda while our remote interns received a gift card to order their own treats. At noon, all interns and their managers attended a little celebration that included watching a 10 minute video featuring mini clips of the interns' teammates giving them shout outs and thanking them for their hard work. In the office, we watched the clips and spent lunch together. We had a great time finally meeting all of the local interns in person at Clearcover recently reopened HQ.

Eleni Haloftis, User Experience Research Intern, shared some highlights of her summer internship and how it has prepared her for her future career. Eleni joined the team in the beginning of June and has already made such an impact on the Clearcover team. In the two months she has been here, she launched the customer research panel, a pool of Clearcover customers who are interested and available to participate in research. She also participated as a panelist during Clearcover’s National Disability Pride Month Panel.
What has been your favorite part about being an intern at Clearcover?
I have loved being a UXR intern at Clearcover and touching different research projects and the opportunity to grow my skills, methods, and tools. I also love being on a team that is hard working and productive but also has fun and cares for each other.
How has your internship prepared you for your future career goals?
This internship has given me insight into the career I have been seeking in UX Research, from agile frameworks to shadowing projects and cross functional collaboration.
What have you learned during your time at Clearcover?
I have learned more about UX Research techniques and tools.
