The fastest, easiest way to file and track your claim is through your Clearcover app—you can file a claim in as little as four minutes. And because filing in the app leads to quicker processing, your issue will often be resolved faster. 

When you file a claim through the Clearcover app, the Claims Center will move you smoothly through our 5-step claims process. Once you answer a few easy questions and snap some pictures, we’ll start the claims process immediately. You’ll then be able to track its progress 24/7 in the app.

How to File a Claim in the Clearcover Mobile App

  1. Tap CLAIMS in the nav bar of your Clearcover app.

  2. Tap the Get started button.

  3. Answer a few questions, snap a few photos, and we’ll take it from there.

Once you have an open claim, you can track its status 24/7 in the Claims Center (where you filed your claim) and see exactly which step you’re in.

Tracking Your Claim’s Status:

  1. Submission: Now that you’ve submitted your digital claim, your initial work is done! 

  2. Review: During Review, we confirm that your claim is eligible for coverage and determine liability. 

  3. Estimation: During Estimation, we determine how much it will cost to repair your vehicle, based on the information you provided.* (If the repair shop discovers any additional damage after estimation is complete, we will work with them directly to cover any costs.)

  4. Payment: Once the estimate is complete, we’ll issue your payment. You’ll get the money as soon as possible (our current record is 7 minutes!*).

    Note: If your car is deemed a total loss during Estimation (the estimated cost of repairs exceeds the actual cash value of the car), we’ll reach out and send you some paperwork. As soon as you submit the paperwork, we’ll issue your payment!

  5. Complete: Your claim is complete and you’re good to go. Safe driving!
