Juneteenth: A Day of Remembrance and Celebration

At Clearcover, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We believe that Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a crucial role in achieving this goal by hosting informative events that educate our employees. Recently, our ERG Clearcover African American Network (CAAN) hosted an event for Juneteenth that was both informative and enjoyable.

The event, which was led by CAAN Member Deja Aggrey, kicked off with a historical lesson from CAAN leader Jerrell West, who provided background information about Juneteenth, a holiday that dates back to the Civil War.

Clearcover Celebrates the Underdog

In 1976, the third Friday of December was designated "National Underdog Day," an occasion to cheer on sports teams or individuals whose success is seen as a long shot.  But for us at Clearcover, everyday is Underdog Day.  We see ourselves as underdogs, and aspire to demonstrate the determination and resilience they embody. Our Leadership Principles empower all Clearcover-ers to operate with an underdog's mindset in our daily actions, and we honor collegiate athletes who have overcome adversity and found success in their sports with our Inspired Underdog sponsorships.

Supporting Men's Health This Movember

When Clearcover's CEO Kyle Nakatsuji challenged all team members to participate in our first Movember fundraiser last year, Clearcover-ers were quick to step up and raise money in a variety of ways including, of course, growing ever-more impressive moustaches.  After exceeding our fundraising goal during our inaugural year, Clearcover once again participated in Movember to support a variety of men's health issues among them mental health, a subject at the center of Clearcover's culture, and men's cancer research which has an impactful meaning for several members of our team.  During our month-long fundraising efforts, Clearcover-ers rallied together to give back at the onset of the holiday season and support one another along the way.

The Benefits of Being a Clearcover-er

At Clearcover, we recognize that team members who are assured that their healthcare and finances are in order, are able to thrive in a remote environment, and can easily balance their work and personal schedules are happier in their jobs than those who lack some or all of these benefits. And employees who are happy are likely to be more productive and remain with their current employer. In order to ensure that all Clearcover-ers maintain the highest possible level of contentment and peace of mind, we offer all team members a comprehensive package of benefits that provides expansive health care coverage, helps to bolster their finances, covers essentials for remote work, offers flexibility, and supports families.

Clearcover's Home Office Tips

As we email, instant message, and meet over Zoom with our fellow Clearcover-ers across the country, we started to wonder… where, exactly, are we all working?
